The mandate
Lead finance and capital allocation for an AI-enabled industrial group acquiring and operating U.S. manufacturing businesses. Own acquisition finance, strategic planning, integration finance, and investor reporting while building a finance function suited to an acquisition-led growth strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Lead acquisition finance, including deal structuring, diligence, valuation, and debt capacity for transactions up to approximately $50M enterprise value.
- Own capital allocation, FP&A, operating models, cash forecasts, and investor reporting.
- Integrate acquired manufacturing businesses by standardizing accounting and finance operations and hiring local controllers.
- Build and lead finance capabilities across M&A, FP&A, and integration reporting.
- Partner with founders and investors on strategic decisions and future capital markets readiness.
What you bring
- 5+ years of finance experience, with a strong investment banking or private equity foundation.
- Experience in finance leadership, strategic finance, or corporate development at a high-growth startup.
- Strong M&A underwriting, deal structuring, debt, valuation, and diligence skills.
- Comfort with ambiguity, high ownership, and a high-risk/high-reward environment.
- Degree required; must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Must work onsite in New York five days per week and travel regularly to manufacturing sites.

Full-time, on-site in New York; regular travel to portfolio manufacturing sites. Base salary $185K–$280K plus equity; relocation support may be available through a sign-on package. Visa sponsorship is not available. Interview stages include an initial screen, finance leadership interview, onsite assessment, and founder meetings.
