What is an AI data partnership?
A licensing agreement in which a company provides de-identified operational data — documentation, communications, workflows or work footage — to train and evaluate frontier AI models, in return for direct compensation.
How much can a company earn?
Advertised company compensation ranges from about US$100K to US$2M+ for archive and enterprise data partnerships, and about US$8K to US$10K+ for workplace video collection. Final amounts depend on data volume, quality and eligibility, and are not guaranteed.
Can a company that has shut down still sell its data?
Yes, where the owners hold the rights. The defunct company programme is designed for businesses that are no longer operating and had 50+ peak employees with substantial Slack or Microsoft Teams history.
Which countries are eligible?
Eligibility depends on the programme: the archive programme covers the US, UK, Canada, India, Australia, Singapore, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany and France; enterprise data prioritises the US and Western markets; video collection covers Latin America, South Africa, the US and other Western markets.
How is privacy handled?
Data is scoped, reviewed and de-identified under the partner’s agreement before use. Your company keeps control over what is shared and agrees terms directly with the partner. Take your own legal advice before licensing any data.
Am I contracting with Brian Itumo?
No. Brian Itumo introduces qualified companies. Applications, data review, contracts and payment are handled directly by the AI data partner.
I advise companies — can I refer them?
Yes. Consultants, board advisors, investors and insolvency practitioners can join the advisory partner network and introduce eligible companies.
